#1. Skyline Loft - Bridgeport Art Center

Featuring two event spaces, The Skyline Loft and the Sculpture Garden, this Chicago wedding venue is an ideal setting for all types of weddings. The Skyline Loft is the larger of two venues, which gives couples 18,500 square feet of space to utilize for their big day. Along with being spacious, the loft provides gorgeous views of Chicago’s skyline — hence the name. It’s located at the very top floor of the Bridgeport Art Center and includes an industrial-chic interior with the help of its exposed brick and wooden beams. If you’re hoping to have an outdoor ceremony or reception, The Bridgeport’s Sculpture Garden is a fabulous pick to host a garden-inspired wedding. The Sculpture Garden features an outside patio that has a stunning brick archway and is great for hosting ceremonies, receptions and cocktail hours. Two sets of floor-to-ceiling French doors lead to the outdoor area where you’ll also be greeted with brick flooring and an ivy-filled garden.

Located on Chicago’s Northside in the beautiful Edgewater neighborhood, Firehouse Chicago has been restored to its original period beauty. It's complete with antique doors, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. Walls are lined with crisp white subway tile and rich wood elements, a restored silver tin ceiling shines overhead, and you can still see the original firepole and other historic details. Featuring a spacious and flexible event space, Warehouse 109 meets the need for an interesting venue to host your next event.  They provide many unique vignettes; including a gallery of antique motorcycles, a vintage bar, and a 1958 Airstream turned into a lounge.

#3. Cheney Mansion - Oak Park, IL

Set on two acres of impeccably manicured grounds  in the Historic District of Oak Park, the 12,000-square-foot Cheney Mansion is reminiscent of an English country home. Wedding receptions can be held in any of several rooms in the mansion, as well as outdoors on the greenhouse patio or expansive lawns. A tent can be set up for a large group, too. And from the grand staircase in the main house to the gorgeous landscaping, your photographer will find plenty of wonderful photo opportunities.
